Gaoh is a giant spirit in Haudenosaunee tradition who controls the winds, keeping them penned so that the world is not torn apart by their full force. He is less a village-raiding ogre than a cosmological regulator - immense because weather is immense, authoritative because the sky's moods need a keeper in story.
