Briareus
Also known as: Aegaeon, The Hundred-Handed
Basic account
Hundred-handed giant who aided Zeus against the Titans.
Account
Briareus - also called Aegaeon - was one of the Hecatoncheires, the hundred-handed, fifty-headed children of Uranus and Gaia, more ancient than the Olympians and stranger than the Titans.
