Chain of custody

Gogmagog was the last giant of Albion, thrown from the cliffs at Plymouth by Corineus after losing a wrestling match.

The wrestling match and the fall from a cliff are attested in a twelfth-century Latin history, but that text puts the fight at the shore where Brutus landed rather than at Plymouth, and the Plymouth address is supplied by later documents.
